About Our Team
Warren Romine
Founder & CEO of Mid Town Builders Corp. LLC
Warren studied construction management at East Carolina University and began his carreer building offsite student housing throughout the Eastern United States. He stepped into the Affordable Housing industry by working with an affordable general contractor. In this role, he was the lead for the first ever 4%, LITCH, Bond Portfolio transaction in the state of North Carolina. He quickly gained four more Bond Portfolio Transactions, along with new construction builds and single 9% deals.
While working as Director of Field Construction for Greystone Affordable Housing (an Affordable Housing Developer) and Greystone Servicing (an Affordable Housing Lender), Warren saw the need for a General Contractor who understood the inner workings of the owner, developer, lender, and management in order to ensure project accuracy and consistency, from initial scope development to CNA’s and 8609 delivery close outs.
Keri Roberts
Director of Multifamily Housing Services
Keri started as a part-time site manager over 10 years ago. She quickly worked her way to the top and within 3 years was named the Regional Manager for a large property management company in Oklahoma. One year later she advanced to the company’s State Director and was subsequently named as the VP of Operations. Keri’s team oversaw 2500+ units and over 100 employees in 3 states. Keri has her HCCP and specializes in LIHTC, Rural Development, HUD, and the renovation/relocation process for 4%, 9% and new construction deals. Her strengths are in team building at a site level, tenant relations, property inspections, training site staff, relocation specialist, consulting and maintaining site property compliance. Currently Keri sits on the Affordable Housing Providers of Oklahoma board and was president from 2020-2021.
Keri’s passion is to help educate others in the industry so more clean, safe affordable housing is available to those in need. Keri believes education is the key in this industry. By maintaining compliance at all times, companies can continue to provide much needed housing in an ever-growing segment within the U.S.
Kristen Romine – Office & HR Manager
With several years of experience in the construction industry, Kristen is a seasoned Office and HR Manager at Mid Town Builders, where she brings a wealth of knowledge in managing day-to-day office operations and overseeing human resources functions. Throughout her career, Kristen has demonstrated exceptional organizational skills, ensuring that office environments run smoothly, and HR processes are efficient, compliant, and employee-focused.
Specializing in employee relations, recruitment, training, and performance management, Kristen has helped shape a positive and productive workplace culture at Mid Town Builders. Her expertise in staff management, coupled with an understanding of the construction industry’s specific needs, Kristen has been instrumental in optimizing team performance and ensuring that employees are supported in all aspects of their work.
In addition to handling administrative duties, Kristen is adept at coordinating office logistics, managing payroll, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and safety standards. Her ability to balance the needs of both the company and its employees has earned her a reputation as a trusted leader who fosters a collaborative and positive environment.
Tim
Tim started his career by attending Virginia Tech where he studied Civil Engineering, graduating in 1982. After completing his schooling, he went on to work in the construction industry working way to a supervisor. Eventually he moved over to the Affordable Housing side. He went to work for Greystone Affordable Housing. He was promoted to General Super. He completed several project renovations and new construction. Tim takes great pride in his work and loves to solve problem issues as they arise. In 2023 Tim decided to join MTB. Where he brings so much value to our team with his years of hands-on construction job history.
Ryan
Courteous, results-oriented, and versatile professional with years of experience in diverse customer care roles, specializing in repair, maintenance, and project management. Exceptionally talented in leading, managing, and overseeing staff to create a continuously service-oriented environment. Proven ability to develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies and programs, ensuring compliance with safety rules and regulations. Known for building productive business relationships and achieving long-term customer loyalty. Demonstrates outstanding planning, operational, multitasking, organizational, coordination, and implementation skills to bring significant improvements in processes toward successful goal attainment.
Joe
Joe has worked in Construction since graduating high school in 1984. He worked underground utilities which consist of installing waterlines sewer lines, water plants, sewer plants, lift stations, and such. He helped to maintain and operate these plants. In 2016, he was hired with a company that remodeled affordable housing. Joe started out as a closer on the properties and has worked his way up to being a project manager and has worked on thousands of units that were occupied or unoccupied in several states. Joe’s scope of work has included remodeling clubhouses, installing bus stops, pavilions, and many other projects as well. . Joe’s work ethic has guided him through his career due to his determination, his keen awareness of working with many vendors from very diverse backgrounds.
